Tennela members achieve outstanding results in state and federal courts in Tennessee. Here are but a few...(SOON TO COME)

Tennela regularly seeks to educate our legislators regarding issues that affect employees. We do those through contacting key legislators and informing them of the consequences of proposed bills and the effects on the workplace. One such bill was Senate Bill 940 that sought to overturn an important Tennessee Supreme Court opinion which rejected a procedural process that keeps employee's cases from reaching a jury. pdf SB0940

The term "Amicus Brief" comes from the latin phrase "Amicus curiae", meaning "friend of the court". A person or group who has an interest in the subject matter of a case before the court but which is not a party to the action may petition the court to submit a brief on a particular issue.
